This seems to be a good idea in principle, let's see what it will look like when implemented.
As part of this effort, the Maths HOD at my school Morant Bay High has been promoted to be one of the elite Mathematics "master teachers" and she is to work with the MoE to develop programs to help the weaker schools in the parish. She is an excellent teacher and leader and a great choice to spearhead the maths component of this project.

As of this month the Ministry of Education will seek to improve the performance of three high schools in St Thomas through the pooling of resources, under a school district arrangement model.
The institutions identified are the Robert Lightbourne, Paul Bogle and Seaforth high schools.
Minister of Education Ronald Thwaites made the disclosure following the findings of the latest National Education Inspectorate (NEI) report.
The minister pointed out that through this arrangement, an agglomeration of students in a district is provided for by the Education Code. “It was thought of before, but never implemented,” he said
