  • A matter of trust?

Are these people for real? A corrupt entity talking about trust?

PNP vice-president Dr Peter Phillips, Portia Simpson Miller's closest rival in last February's presidential elections, in his address which was met with loud applause, said the elections were about "which party can be trusted to continue the progress".
"Our leader has always been a PNP," he said.
Clearly attacking Bruce Golding's credibility following his departure from the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) to form the National Democratic Movement in October 1995, and his subsequent return just before the 2002 general elections, the PNP has portrayed Golding as a "flip flopper".

According to them, the country needed someone who could be trusted to remain firm even when the going is tough.

Didn't Winston Churchill change parties and went on to become a respected world leader? Let me see, its okay for Horne, Daboub, Parchment etc to change parties and join the PNP, but its a sin for someone to join the JLP?

It is abundantly clear these people after 18 years cannot run on their record. Then again, why should they? The comrades nuh really business with the issues, they come up with anancy stories bout Joshua mek dem can logon pon internet, mek dem can guh doctor's cave beach and all that trivial stuff.
"Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)
