Would the police beat him to death for saying he did not like one of their own?
No prisoners were involved in the killing if the ice water cop.
She wanted to punish him by keeping him longer in a hostile evnvironment.
Why would police lie to the doctor, did they want to protect the prisoners that have since been charged?
If a weapon was used then they will have to explain how the prisoners (in a holding cell, not prison)came onto possession of it,and how no weapon apparently was coconfiscated.
There is the possibilty we are seeing attempts of a cover-up.

Far from over, over a spliff !...this ganja human rights thing is bigger than some and their agenda , they will never get it , unless the weed tun gay.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Right now mi nuh care who actually beat him eno. What right does a police officer have to detain you further just because you say yuh nuh like dem? One should be able to tell di whole a dem to sdm without fear of silly retribution such as this. If yuh want to charge him for indecent language, then do so, but being detained in a holding cell, even if you're alone, should never be on the cards.

That policewoman should be facing some sanction right now.

Well the incident has started movement regarding the arrest of people for possession of ganha, had that existed from day one maybe the initial proposal...would have been different thereby lessening the possibility of this mess. The new proposals are on response to and an attempt to avert further....
A more robust challenge was needed that the initial one, hence it is a worthy human rights issue.

And of course he had a constitutional right to be release after satifying the requirements.
First the police said the person putting up the surety changed his mind(that is a lie),then they lied to the attending physician...
Lying is to a cover-up, it compromises the case against the people charged. One thing it sure, the actions of the officers undermine the chances of justice being served.

Well what of those organizations already mandated with that purpose? If X is culpable then ......

It is a costly oversight and glaring dereliction. Thus after the fact fervent movement attests to that.
                      That aside,mawning Mr President.

"Police on top of this one" I hope you were being sarcastic. No one believes that inmate story. Not even the police. Still a job for a relevant JFJ.
