KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Are prisoners being allowed to smoke ganja inside the Supreme Court?
The question arose again in Senate this morning, when Opposition spokesman on justice, Senator Alexander Williams, repeated that he has smelled ganja fumes in the court and, when he enquired, he was told that it is allowed to keep the prisoners quiet.
This time, Williams got support from fellow attorney, KD Knight, who commented, "every day, every day".
Later in the debate, Kingston's Mayor Angella Brown Burke suggested that the government look at legalising up to two ounces of ganja.
