      Those Republicans

      Wouldn't be a shock to their system if contrary to their belief they lose seats in the House and Senate come November?

        Why waste time acknowledging these clowns & this BS? It's an election year, so they flood your senses with BS to distract you from REAL issues, like increasing the minimum wage, universal health care, education, immigration, the environment, etc.

          They can't lose the House. Not possible unless something earth-shattering happens between now and then.

          Senate is a toss-up.

            Would them losing the house qualify as earth shattering?

              The main reason they shall hold on is, redistricting!
              ...so yes, it is unlikely they shall lose the House. I think they shall be shocked when the results on Senate are finalized.

              I asked you to believe me when I said that the facts on the Obama Care 'spoke' to it being accepted and a success. To cut to the chase through my then explanation my argument was, it made no sense for the citizens to go against their own self-interest and actively participate in their punishment. The same argument holds when you think on:
              i) Improving efficiency on governance;

              ii) Increasing employment rates;

              iii) Increased government spending and thus tax collection;

              iv) Efficient use of tax dollars in States, cities, towns and villages - real social engineering (regardless of term used. Many are uncomfortable with the term "social engineering").
              = that speaks to circulation of money in the economy and 'the putting of bread on the table' for each and every citizen.

              The citizens know businesses cannot remain vibrant if there are no customers - citizens with money to spend.

              Taken to an end point: Hey...you cannot pay taxes if the contractions the GOP speak of result in you having no job!

              How can the homeowner hang on to his home if he/she has no job as a result of contraction of or refusal to expand the economy and circulation of funds? ...the lawn guy? ...the pest control guy? ...the eateries? ...the UPS stores; etc., etc.?

              Most citizens realize the GOP apologists speak with 'forked tongue'. You are being taxed too much and the government operations. should be contracted because there is too much waste in the system (code for firings...and less money in their pockets as less money is available in their communities...and that has nothing to do with increasing efficiency in government work-places).

              ...denial of infrastructure projects=denial of jobs.
              ...denial of healthcare access=denial to the health services (they are uncomfortable on thought of quality care received being 'best available' when the institution is not being reimbursed or paid for services rendered. They believe in "...getting what you pay for" and that transfer of understanding has them thinking on...so I paid zilch then the service I am receiving must be trending towards, zilch).

              ...and all these questions they are asking themselves on a host issues that impact their lives lead down only one street - The GOP is poison to and for them!

              - They are thinking on the 'forked tongue' that says the government must butt out. ...while that same 'forked tongue' dictates (use their manipulation government) to curtail the individual's choice on - Sensible Gun control laws, immigration overhaul, Tax dollars returning to States - denial of same, e.g. Medicare, Obama Care, re-tooling infrastructure, access to birth control facilities and products, removal of or increasing access to voting...and the list is tremendously long...

              ...even as the 'forked tongues' also say government must be there for their constituents when and only when on their say so.

              Many think of the GOPers as the crazies...and the numbers are growing as the citizens ask selves hard questions.

                ...so they bank on there being more foolish voters than sensible voters?
                That would be saying something about the contempt in which they hold the citizens...wouldn't it?

                  They do, and it does! As do the Democrats in their own way, BTW.

                    Karl!!! You are reasoning like you have either just arrived in the U.S. or completely ignored U.S. politics & voters. Sad to say, a large number of voters are IGNORANT & VERY PARTISAN......Just look at some of the CLOWNS they elect & re-elect.
