We wish we were at their levels of narcopolitical violence, look like the good old days of the 70s, but they seem more politically advanced in that they overthrew the government in the 90s.

Narco political terrorist, hidden under an agenda that high unemployment is caused by youths who prefer smoking ganja than working,as if jobs abound.Garrisons arise and politicians dismiss people as not worth saving.

14 % unemployment,Jamaica= 450,000 of a population close to three million, how many working at the poverty level , estimated 76- 80%.My opinion.

THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Actually if TT's murder toll is at 500/year and Jamaica's is ~1000 this year... the murder rates are virtually the same since TT has half our population

But the garrisonization isn't as widespread and politically entrenched as Jamaica's.... dem young inna dis

BTW.. one can't calculate unemployment rates from the total population...you have to exclude elderly, young, retired, students i.e. people of working age who are not full time students

But your 450K number may be close to reality since a 15% unemployment rate is false
