Prosecutors yesterday revealed they have video and audio recordings of prominent medical doctor Jephthah Ford boasting that he was a "man of integrity and influence" as he allegedly tried to bribe a police investigator to influence the outcome of a case involving millions of dollars.

The revelation by Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions Natalie Miller came as Ford made his first appearance in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The charges against the 62-year-old former People's National Party candidate for North West St Andrew stemmed from the arrest of two Surinamese men who were held with cash totalling US$533,284 (or nearly J$60 million) during a traffic stop along Half-Way Tree Road several days ago.

I wonder if they missed the "Jack" Warner 'case study'?

It's no wonder Karl doesn't view Suarez as a cheat. He has been supporting Jack Warner through all his transgressions!
