For years I used to pass the sign, "Glistening Waters" on my way to Montego Bay. This is just before you get to Falmouth. I thought they were referring to the moonlight off a glassy sea. Until I decided to go one night. Man...simply amazing to see how the water glowed bright blue when disturbed. Don't believe the boat pilot when he says it is perfectly safe to dive in. Two tourists on the boat suffered some burning rashes after they entertained the rest of us with a brief dive. Others also went in and nothing happened to them, so if you feel brave... The water is pretty shallow way out there, but it feels muddy. It is worth a visit the next time unnu go a yaad! Try not to go after a shower of rain as the fresh water from the river that empties into the bay seems to diminish the effect.
