One week after Energy Minister Phillip Paulwell signed a licence for Energy World International (EWI) to provide 381 megawatts of electricity to the national grid, Audley Shaw, the opposition spokesman on finance, wants the Government to give all the support the company needs to make it possible.
"The LNG (liquified natural gas) 381-megawatt project must be given national priority to ensure that the financing is put in place expeditiously to make it happen," Shaw said during his contribution to the 2014-2015 Budget Debate in Parliament yesterday.
