Apparently women use twitter to send revealing pics to athletes all the time. Red Sox player Xander Bogaerts deleted his Twitter Account after he mistakenly tweeted a revealing pic from a woman. He needs to work on getting on base more often.
An errant throw by Red Sox rookie shortstop Xander Bogaerts cost his team the game on Tuesday. And an errant tweet appears to have cost the 21-year-old Aruba native his Twitter account last night.
On Wednesday night, the Red Sox defeated the White Sox 6-4 in a 14-inning game. Not long after the game ended, Bogaerts tweeted at his 40,000 followers for the second time since December 2013.
At least one person managed to grab a screenshot of the tweet before the account was quickly deactivated. It appears Bogaerts may have followed in the footsteps of former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner, tweeting something that was never meant to be seen by a wide audience.
