    Workman dies in pipe-laying accident

    Wednesday, April 16, 2014*

A workman was killed and seven others injured when a pipeline they were repairing in Caymanas Estate, St Catherine suddenly exploded.

Came as a shock to me that one member of the Munro College Old Boys hockey team was one of the victims of this accident. He suffered broken bones in his legs and underwent surgery. His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Hoping for a speedy and full recovery for Matthew.

when i fist saw it i thought it was a Don 1 headline about a story where a husband came home unexpectedly and found a workman "laying pipe" ......

having read the story it is tragic. is it avoidable though?
