One more thing X, remember the Moses story according to the Hebrew Bible is that he was a Hebrew baby that an Egyptian princess found floating in a basket the river and raised him as her own. Main point being he was not of Egyptian lineage according to them.
My guess though is that he most likely was Egyptian but chose to defect with the Hebrews during the Exodus. The baby in the bulrushes story was probably added after the fact to make the legend of Moses more acceptable.
