    OSBORNE… takes up appointment today

    HUMAN rights watchdog, Jamaicans for Justice (JFJ), yesterday appointed Kay Osborne as its new executive director.

    Osborne, a former general manager of Television Jamaica, will take up her appointment today.

      Anyway, if she is half as good as her predecessor, she would also be deserving of National Hero status.

        I am not impressed with the appointment.
        It is probably sexist and her credentials would have been bolstered if she was fired from her previous employment.
        Gomes' leadership was special,she is able to identify with a sect she does not belong.
        Osbourne merely inherits a legacy that Gomes had to create.
        Grab a leader is what it appears to be,the fight isn't imaginary.It is clearly visible to people that cared from the get go,where is the glimpse of Osbourne relevant activism?
