    I think police presence is mandated on fire scenes.
    Would be surprised if it wasn't considering the ease in which the vultures at JPS get police escort to garrisons.
    Payne Land was named though, so there may very well be some truth...

      The ministry, in a release, originally put the blame on residents of the Jamaica Labour Party-represented Denham Town, when in fact the incident took place in Tavares Gardens, popularly called Payne Land, a section of the South West St Andrew constituency of Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller, president of the ruling People's National Party.

                residents wrestled with the police trying to pry the wanted men from them...when that didn't succeed they blocked the roads so that the police could not leave and placed them under heavy gunfire...weh Hero Peter deh?
