JLP gears up for general election

The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) General Secretary, Dr Horace Chang has indicated to the party's central executive that the JLP is involved in several activities as the party gets ready for the next general elections.
Among the key developments being overseen by the party's secretariat at this time are the selection of candidates, the incorporation of specialised software and other election management technology, and revitalisation and restructuring of key affiliate groups.
Chang says using contemporary technology will allow more accurate data management and communication, and will better support and energise party workers.
The general secretary has indicated that efforts at restructuring key affiliate groups are far advanced.
