THINK ! THINK , I addreseed that ,you should be able to make a pragmatic conclusion , two words accesss recources ! There is a historic reason why you have reached that conclusion...THINK !

That organization seems to come together in forgein where they are free to express themselves, where they have access to resources on an even footing.Resources denied to them in Jamaica by of course criminalising them.

I believe that is all they need, will this government or any give it to them, that is the fight as it always was,i did not say is because it must come to an end.

It is not just about resources, it is about lifestyle and organization. It not just about capital. Rastas have some capital if they put their income as one but just as the reggae industry, we are looking for people with big investment. Maybe if we build our own the and start run it good the big investment will come.

Think ,Think ,Think...Rasta have been the backbone of the carribbean immigration business success stories in the states ...resources have everything to do with lifestyle and organization esp when a government has spent decades denying you of it.

You cant exclude them, they are holistic in being.

        THINK !...thank God for america.

They could set themselves up as consultants?! I mean they who have used it in so many forms might have special knowledge of the product that the "capitalists" (those with the capital) don't...

Wasn't particularly talking about genetically modified plants, although i am sure that will be done as well. You don't have to genetically modify a plant to cultivate it with a certain type of yield in mind.

Anyway like I say, either rasta will make an effort to understand the market they are getting into or they won't. If they don't and get into it anyway they will be sorely disappointed and have one more thing to cuss Babylon about, thats all.

So Rastas and Grass Root have marketing rights to legal Ganja because they using it illegally? A big man control the illegal ganja trade and a big man going to control the legal trade once the Feds approve it.

you know is very rare I quote Don1, but he asked you about the business plan. Tell answer that for me first.

Is just like we sell our coffee beans green, when the money is made when it is dried or processed. go figure.

Our govt should use this opportunity to introduce a new kind of business, one that is largely owned by the workers.

These solution can't be government imposed, especially in Jamaica. You have to educate the people and motivate them rather than using political goons to impose this. One way is to make College student, a part of their course to go in and work with communities in their areas of studies to develop ways forward and this is apart of their graduation status and provide HEART trainees to assist.

Why do you believe Rastas dont have a plan, like everyone else , you think business have a unified plan ? NO! They all have an aim to make money ,how they organise and sell that product is their individual plan, all Rastas need is a fair shake.

They have something that all the other businness dont have authentication.Whether they come together as a collective or individual ,it will be a plan, how many fail or succeed, time will tell. This labelling of Rastas and profiling as un organized without looking at the history of the so called unorganization needs to be addressed with all that unorganization under oppression they have managed to formulate a music, religion, identify a plant as holy , trade in that plant and all things red, gold and green, trade in culinary things rastafarian.

Dismiss Rasta at your peril ,keep looking for the plan, its been set in motion for how many decades of oppression.Lets see if babylon shitstem deny them of their plan.

If you fail to plan, it is more likely that your plan will fail. That is all I am telling you. Making the money is not just in planting herb but by processing it and selling it like most of our product, like Coffee that we give away the green been for "tupance" plus, I would advice you to go back and listen Iman post of Shaggy interview on Chris Blackwell and other producers.

Yes rasta as been good at creative Arts and other thing but they have not bee great of producing in mass or marketing their product. Oppression is one thing but so too is a culture that is not into technology and doesn't adapt to changes very fast, as you often here of "sellout" "Babylon" etc. to any change to the norm. Also rasta's Primary motive is not money and you have money as their sole motive in this Herb thing.

If this is what you are trying to say ...if you fail to plan ,then you plan to fail...we agree....What you need to do is look at Rastas deprivation in historical context on how they planned to succeed and how it was denied to them. Then you can present whatever issues you have with Rastas as not being organised.

We can look at the holistic idea of rasta but at the end of the day, that empathy not going to help in business, and rasta have to start talking about business, ownership and commercialization of some of their prduct. Again listen to the Shaggy interview again.
