The best thing I have seen so far presented as per a viable economic option, still waiting on your chinese Jamaican logistic hub assesment.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Ok...if yuh believe inna dat papah dats on you

I can't assess dat Chiney plan until I have details... but I absolutely do like logistics development for Jamaica as a key part of the growth strategy

But why are you posing this as a logistics vs weed debate??

        Nutten nuh guhsuh

Not believe ..its a proposition that needs to be examined by simple commonsense reason, and like you say the chinese plan lacks detail .I too love the concept of a hub and its not a hub vs weed .Its a Jamaican controlled ganja industry vs a Chinese controlled Jamaican hub debate.

The hub has to have Jamaicans interest at heart,I dont see it because again like you ,I have no details.

X... I'm not interested in a ganja industry vs Chiney hub debate.

I don't see that as a valid subject since they're not mutually exclusive

I believe it is debatable ,based on percieved controlling interest of national security.

Panama has only had control of the canal since 1999. Not a long time in the life of a nation.

They are experiencing GDP growth in excess of 8 percent for the last 5 years, with high single digit growth projected to continue for the near future. Jobs are available and the cost of labor is not cheap. That is always a sign of a good economy. Canal operation and expansion is a big part of that.

Like everywhere that humans have lived, they have issues related to class , race and opportunity . Colon in particular looks like your typical neglected Caribbean town.

However having been there myself and having a close family member who spends dmonths there every year, I can tell you that it is a nation transforming in real time. I hope they stay on that track , they should be an inspiration to developing countries everywhere.
