    Rastas rally to defend 'Pinnacle'

KINGSTON, Jamaica — About 100 Rastafarians have rallied in Kingston to lay claim to a site in the parish of St Catherine where a founding father of the movement once led a flourishing community.

Rastas are fighting to keep a developer from building at ‘Pinnacle’, where Leonard P Howell founded the first Rastafarian settlement 70 years ago.

According to reports, about 4,500 Rastafarians once lived in Pinnacle, but the police and British colonial officials destroyed the community in 1954.

The site is considered sacred to Rastas.

Ruins where Howell's house once stood were declared a national heritage site by the government last year. But the Court has ruled that the developer owns adjoining lots.

Jamaica's culture ministry says the developer is open to negotiations regarding the future of the lots.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Agreed, would have been a sacred site otherwise...
The way we feel about the empty promise of three acres and a mule is the same way Rasta...
      What would be our excuse?
Lastly,I am sure Govt understand that small number of demonstators will only get much larger.
They might just take a closer look at things and start demanding..

The vatican is filthy rich and seeing that they can no longer sell slaves dem core is dem followers.
Didn't you witness Rasta becoming global?
                  Who is them?
It can't be the Ziggy Marleys...
Rasta is oneness, suh yuh selective chat is ignorant and fundamentally flawed.
But then you have done it before, extrajudicial victims get no mercy from you, but then criminality isn't the problem,it is failing to be a highly successful criminal. That would explain why Dudus is Chris to you and Kartel is a world boss.No problem with bypassing the courts regarding extra judicial killings..whilst holding dare the rights of successful criminals facing the courts..

                  Jus a reason.
