Feels like I'm caught in a time warp vortex, all this talk about isms and neo!

I think what is clear is the best system must have a little of the others.

I take issue with one thing Islandman said - not because I chose to live in a country means I agree with its political system above others, necessarily.

Plunderers will do what they can to plunder nations regardless of the economic system in place. There has been plundering going on for centuries in resource rich nations, under colonialism, socialism, Marxism, capitalism , imperialism and every other form of ism.

But you already know this of course.

You getting overly technical now. Let us leave the isms alone for a minute and just deal with concepts.

Based on the evidence we have in world history up to this point, which macro-economic model is more likely to generate innovation, wealth and economic prosperity?

Is it one that is mostly centrally planned and state controlled, or one that is mostly driven by private enterprise and entrepreneurship?

Dumb question , why not ask our free forfathers/mothers 200 years ago in Africa would they live in the west back then ?

Ask that question about India and China in a 100 years from now .

            Thanks in advance.
