Listening to her, I suspect she’s a fan of Rihanna, or at least heavily influenced by the Barbadian pop star. And like Rihanna, it’s difficult to call Karian Sang an outstanding singer; at least, it’s difficult to judge based on the simplicity of the melody line.

More importantly for record sales, like Rihanna, Karian is very attractive and so very music industry-friendly (for example, perfect for music videos).

Speaking of beautiful young women, whatever happened to our talented singer Kris Kelly? She seemed to have disappeared completely from the music scene.

Also, what happened to Danielle? She became popular with the collaboration with Beenie Man, “Brown Girl in the Ring.” She also had a fairly popular release, “Downtown Man.” I haven’t heard anything of Danielle in recent times.
