Boss, Samuel L. Jackson has been one of the most employed actors over the past 20 years! Very few actors or actresses -- white or black -- have been given as much prominent roles as Jackson!

In the same way that black studio musicians like Los Angeles’ studio aces Greg Phillinganes (keyboards) and Nathan East (bass) have been among the most recorded musicians in history, so has Samuel L. Jackson impacted films in terms of frequency of appearance.

There have been a couple of other black actors who have not exactly been short of prominent roles, for example, Denzel Washington.
