China has been looking for a deep warm water port this part of the world for some time now and we do not have much of a choice.

Food security issue: Food prices will skyrocket. Nobody is farming anymore mainly due to theft. Most money will go back to China. That is the formula.

Water: There is already water issues the the administration continues to mismanage.

Environment: There will be invasive species to deal with like the lion fish for example. A million plus more human waste has to be dealt with.

Cultural issues: eg.How long will it take for what percentage of 1 million plus Mandarin to become Jamaicanized?(i believe this is what Karl did mean).

Anyway you look at it, the power in the world is being rebalanced and Jamaica is playing a role. Pivotal time in human history.
