    When Jon Stewart start bashing the Obamacare

    This is looking a lot worse than originally thought. They might have to delay this

    they made a big hash of it. Obama should have made sure it was better prepared because his name is attached to it.

    That what I was telling Karl. implementation can take some of the shine off.

      Simple fix...not of the website but the enrollment period. That fix, extend the enrollment period and thus the period before the penalty phase kicks in.

      Frankly, the only danger to the ACA i.e. ObamaCare is whether or not the required numbers of young 'healthy' persons sign up. Having health care insurance is an ingrained reflexive demand of all Americans as job remuneration requirement. Speak with any young adult about job satisfaction and "I have health insurance coverage" almost seem to be a substitute for "love this job" or the extolling of "excellent benefits".

      My guess is the ACA will do 'fantastic'...but speed with which the numbers break-even and eventually make the operations (of the Act) profitable could following a period of being underwater.

      No biggie really.
      Just the talking heads and those needing to 'sell' news having their usual field -day.

          The Federal website? Agreed.

          But...Delay what?
          Something that I have been benefiting from for at least 1 year?

          Remember ObamaCare is not being rolled out now...just a part of it. ...and that a number of States exchanges (more than 10. ...or is it even more than 20?) are fiyahing along.

          ...so again, what would you delay?

              I agree with you that the web site should have been ready to when released.
              That not being ready 'for prime time' is huge failure.

              ...but ObamaCare, the ACA...the product being offered, is just fine!

                Delay the individual mandate. You can't penalize people for not signing up on a website that does not work. Or for your crappy system not sending correct information to the insurance companies (which is also happening).

                Then hope that the website debacle does not turn off so many young people that it becomes a political winner for the GOP.

                    Depends how bad this train wreck turns out to be. At least 2 months I would say, then re-evaluate at the end of the year.
