We can't talk about Burning Spear without bringing up 'Man in the hills'

I am sure most of the (not so much Burning Spear fans) are hearing it for the first time!

            Repitition is for emphasis:

I was the first to describe Burning Spear's music as 'repetitive and simplistic'.

And with all-a that, the overall orchestration of most of his music is outstanding!!

I estimate I have most (if not all) of his music up to mid 2000's.

The musical piece that started this thread was taken from a 2 CD concert album done in Germany. I have it on my ipod. It is my favorite of his works.

Listen to it I'man--I think you'll like it!!

I do agree with that. I love horns in my reggae music as well and Burning Spears music has always had a lot of that. It is also why Aswad was one of my favorite reggae bands.
