All gov'ts have failed Jamaica - Mike Henry

CENTRAL CLARENDON Member of Parliament Mike Henry says successive administrations have failed the people of Jamaica.
Henry, during yesterday's sitting of the Public Administration and Appropriations Committee of Parliament, also declared that he was an independent member.
Henry, who has been a member of parliament since 1976, made the revelation as he sought answers from government technocrats on the state of Jamaica's performance under the extended fund facility with the International Monetary Fund.
He sought to find out, specifically, whether a graph has been developed indicating the performance of variables in the economy against projections.
Bank of Jamaica Governor Brian Wynter attempted to answer the question, saying: "The way the Government has operated, as you would have known … ," but was interrupted by Henry.
"Which Government?" the veteran politician enquired.
"They have all failed us. I am independent-minded. They have all failed us," Henry said.
