Dear Editor,

Many years ago, I shared a table at a wedding reception with Easton Lee. He described his role as

assistant to the Honorable Michael Manley. He had to go to every meeting and record every grammatical error and mispronunciation.

When I listen to the present prime minister and her use of split infinitives and pronunciations; such as ELECTRIC CITY, I think she is in great need of an Easton Lee.

Not sure what English being or not being our first language, has to do with a college educated Head of State of a Commonwealth country not being able to pronounce simple words
