Ska is firmly rooted in Argentinia.I am convinced ska came about because of Don Drummond , he was the musical conductor , composer and teacher in his time , the standard of music was set by him ,Producers and band members testified to this ,Even though others claim they named it , Drummond was credited with aranging , composing and setting the standard.Musical historians will testify to this , as time goes so will his legacy and contribution to jamaican music be recognised.
His musical style was harnessed in Rockfort ,Count Ossie Rasta encamptment,long before Marley association with Rastas in trench town and his interpretation of reggae ,Rasta influence was embedded in SKA.
It is said SKA is the only music where the trombone can lead.

This song came about at a warm up session in the studio, Coxsone would not let Drummond record his songs that he wished to record , so he would write sheets of his composition to band members and tell Coxsone they were warming up , where Coxsone would record them,he released those he believed were good enough, most of it was not .Coxsone demanded Drummond arrange his session to do over american music, jazz to be pop , Drummond rebelled most of the time , Then Coxsone would black mail him by taking away the trombone he bought form him.The studio would come to a stand still for months , when Drummond singed himself in Bellvue and guess who would sign him out ?
