PORT MARIA, St Mary — The police are this afternoon continuing their search for two women who were involved in last night's shooting of a 36-year-old teacher of Hampstead, St Mary.
Reports from police are that about 10:30 pm, the teacher and the women went to have a drink at a location in Paggee district in the parish, when one of the women brandished a handgun and fired several shots in the direction of the man before allegedly escaping in his motorcar.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.
