Separate and aside,there was two drawings, identical in every way except for the interchanging colour of two characters(It was shown and discussed on one f the local stations).The setting is a play yard with a swing.The drawings showed three youngsters,one behind an empty wing,one sprawled out on the floor a few feet in front of the swing and the final character next to the floored youngster(likely out of concern for the fallen).The only difference between both drawings is the interchanging of colours between the floored youngster and the one standing behind an empty swing.Two sets(defined by race,black and white-age bracket 6 or 7 years old) of children were asked to give their interpretation of the drawings.The interpretations were the same,the drwing depicting the floored black youngster was determined to be the youngster fell off and is being consoled.The other drawing depicting the floored white child was determined to be the black child pushed the white child off the swing who is now being consoled by the third child.
