Sammy Yatim was shot nine times (well nine shots were fired) by the Toronto police (one officer) a few days ago. IMO if that officer is not charged for murder AND convicted then all is rotten in the world. Of course, I am no investigator but y'all can take a look at the video here and decide for yourself.
Yatim was armed with a knife and alone on the streetcar after the passengers and the driver all vacated the tram because of his erratic behaviour and of course he was brandishing a knife. At the time he was shot no one else was on board the streetcar, it seems he disobeyed an officer's command to not move a step farther or you're dead...
BTW, he wasn't black. I think he was of mid-eastern heritage or from somewhere like that.
