Rosie ‘Called the Contractor’ at Sumfest

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica — The ‘Call The Contractor’ YouTube video that went viral featuring 'Rosie' mouthing off about the loss of her furniture and appliances in a flood earned the complainant a spot on Reggae Sumfest Dancehall night Thursday at the Catherine Hall Entertainment complex in Montego Bay.
Veteran female deejay Lady Saw, before getting into her set, called Rosie onstage to once again air her grouse.
But unlike Cliff Twang who reaped some level of success when his “Nobody can cross it” video went viral, Rosie’s attempt at deejaying on stage about her troubles didn’t cross it
Gone was her animated ‘dutty wine’ head movement, as she gave a woeful performance about “a nuh 30 grand”. The crowd stood and watched unresponsive. Blessedly Lady Saw walked on stage shifting the focus from Rosie.
