Secretary-general of the International Seabed Authority Nii Odunton (right) greets head of the Singapore Delegation to the Authority's 19th session Ambassador-at-Large Professor Tommy Koh at a reception at the Pegasus Hotel Tuesday evening. Director of Ocean Mineral Singapore Ong Ye Kung was with them.
The event was hosted by the delegation, in tandem with Ocean Mineral Singapore, which has applied to the ISA for a licence to explore for polymetallic nodules on the sea floor.
