  • There is 'big money' for players in the Chinese, Japanese...

...and other Asian leagues for players with the technical talent (skills) we have in Jamaica...but unfortunately our players have never been introduced to playing TEAM at the level those Asian TEAM perform.

...it has resulted in our players after videos of these games are viewed, being called for trials and then sent back home in a flash!

The fact is those professional coaches just cannot space the time to teach our players the game.

These U-20 matches play up our Jamaica teams limitations

    on TEAM-play=tactical skill.

The current Iraq v Korea match shows high level of TEAM play by both TEAMs. ...it is also noticeable that the level technical displayed is just about the same as our U-17s & U-20s save for the area of long passing where we are waaayyyy behind.

Poor long passing: - ...shows up the deficiency in our teaching on how to kick a ball. [i.e. if the player is not good technically on kicking...long passing and passing on goal (shooting) is where that deficiency is most pronounced/most often observed].
