DIN DZEKO could be off to Napoli as a replacement for Edinson Cavani.
French outfit Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be closing in on £54million-rated Uruguay striker Cavani, 26.
And Napoli boss Rafa Benitez has Manchester City hitman Dzeko, 27, on his radar, along with Fiorentina’s Steven Jovetic, 23.
If City do sell, they would look to recoup most of the £27m they paid Wolfsburg for Dzeko in 2011. Former City boss Roberto Mancini reckons Dzeko would shine in Italy.
He said: “If Napoli take Dzeko, they would be safe.
“They would get a great striker who gets 25 a season and only has one defect — that he wants to play in every game.”
Any deal could hinge on whether City find their own replacement for Carlos Tevez.
