  • Is this a prophecy? Mi notice

man a tek the obvious and call it prophecy.

The Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC) says the country should brace for news of huge financial losses arising from the ICC Cricket World Cup, which ends this weekend.

With Jamaica having completed its hosting duties for the international tournament, the JCC has launched an assessment to ascertain the extent of losses incurred by the local organisers.

JCC President Mark Myers told RJR News Wednesday night that the Chamber has requested specific information from the authorities on revenues earned from the tournament.

He disclosed that the findings of the analysis will be released shortly.
"Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)

No need for any prophets here. The losses will be massive, but if it makes anyone feel better, it will be massive across the Caribbean (West Indies).

The spinners will be set loose on the populace, however, to minimize the terrible news.

Do we still want Dehring to run the JFF?

Dehring is not free from blame! But the bulk of it lies with the govts of the region. Yes, that means the PNP govt. too if that makes you feel better, Lazie.

He did write a letter about the dealings. I didn't read it as it was cricket related. Suh forgive for not knowing. But for what he should be blamed? Naah defend him, apparently I missed something.

Can't go thru it now, Lazie, but at the end of the day Dehring did sell this thing as something we should all jump up and support.
