Seeing as how there were some skeptics regarding the JALAWELO programme that Exile put us on to, I debated whether I should post this here... but here goes anyway, seeing as how Portia has shown an interest in the project. Check the site www.reggaepickney.com

I must let you know that TATI Inc (one of the charities) is a charity named after, and to honour my niece who perished in a car crash 6 years ago heading back to school in Gainesville after the Spring break week. It look like Portia like de book dem. Shaggy has endorsed it and takes NOTHING from the proceeds; those go to the charities and royalties (I think that's what they call it) to the artistes who wrote and performed the songs.

My youngest brother is involved being a Director of the TATI Inc Foundation.

Peter R - I remember that.

I am no skeptic when it comes to charities; in fact I endorse most of them. I contribute sometimes, but mostly I do my own thing. My reason for this is that the kids at my alma mater and feeder schools need a LOT, nuff nuff help, and they don't seem to derive any benefit from charities, NGO's or Govt.

Therefore, whatever I can personally deprive myself & my family of, is given to them.
