So far, I have only read the Top 10 list, and I can assure you that I do NOT agree with this so-called “Top 10 Greatest Guitarists”!

I might say more later, but at the moment I’m wondering, for example, how the hell did Keith Richards make this top list (his only claim to fame as a “great” guitarist, in my opinion, is his (excellent) work on the Rolling Stones’ hit, “Satisfaction”)!

Others on this list, such as blues guitarists Chuck Berry and BB King, rock guitarist Pete Townshend (the Who), and slide guitar great Duane Allman do NOT even begin to approach the league of a George Benson, Al Dimeola, Steve Lukather (Toto), Steve Vai, Joe Satriani,Tommy Tedesco (studio guitar great), jazz great Kenny Burrell, etc.

And I’m not simply choosing my favorites here. Quite simply, and in my honest opinion, this is a really ridiculous list! And, for the record, Jimi Hendrix (despite his accomplishments in his short career) is certainly not the greatest guitarist of all times!
