Yes, I did that too. Pity, in today's world, I am not sure what substitutes for that. Does iTunes give you such information when you purchase a song?

And when my cousin, Valentine Douglas, used to backup some of our best artistes out there, that would encourage me more to see if he was actually on a track or not.

You mean Val Douglas the famous bass player? Well, you have an outstanding relative there! Everyone who is serious about Jamaican music most surely knows of Douglas and his immense contribution to our recorded music for many years! This is one man who really played a prominent role in our music over the years.

I also remember the Now Generation Band, in which Val played.

I cannot comment on iTunes, as I have never purchased anything from them.

You know for years, Georgie Benson was such a favorite of mine that it was even hard to accept the Whitney's version of "Greatest Love". There was just something about Benson and that guitar.
