Why would a country go to the IMF if it is self reliance???

The fact is the IMF is a banker and our leaders instead of growing the economy and setting policies that we can be self reliance have left us with a bloated civil servant, massive import bill, and no economy growth. That is not the fault of the IMF.

The fact is if we were growing our economy by an average 3% a year since 1970 we would need NO IMF now. We would be better off setting education policies and security policies. We wouldn't have to sell everything we can to any foriegn investor who come.

You are not making the correlation of signed (trade)agreements we made and the IMF,hence it has to be the lazy farmers or incompetent politicians why things are in disarray.
