So I was talking to this man and woman before the US v. Costa Rica game. The man had on a Stadium jacket that had the Aston Villa insignia.

I said to him "so Aston Villa may just avoid relegation...they appear to be doing well down the stretch....etc etc..."

The discussion continued when he eventually introduced himself as Brad Guzans' Dad and the lady next to him...Brads Mom.

I was mildly gobsmacked!

By the way, I recall a very enthusiastic Jamaican poster by the name of Reggae Fan who used to post here regularly. In fact, he also used to be Public Enemy #1 for the Trinis over on their soccer forum, “Flex Soca Warriors.” He was a true thorn in the sides of the Trinidadians over on that message board.

I haven’t seen Reggae Fan here in recent times.
