Opposition supports extradition of scammers

The opposition Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), says it strongly supports any move to extradite Jamaican lottery scammers to the United*States.
Most of the victims of the scam are senior citizens in the US.*
At a press briefing yesterday, National Security Minister, Peter Bunting, indicated that persons involved in the scam could be extradited to the US to face*charges.
He said US Senators believe that extradition would be an effective tool in helping to send a signal to scammers, that US law enforcement is taking the issue*seriously.
