This has to be a most welcome development. The world is not just Europe (or North America). Latin America is a region that has been fully committed to Catholicism ever since the Spanish conquistadores arrived in the early 16th century, and the populace in these countries have largely remained faithful (South America, Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean islands of Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic).
