Phinn's prophecies for 2006 and beyond
On December 31, 2005, Pastor Phinn and other local prophets sensed God disclosing certain events that will happen in 2006 and beyond. These are prophecies that came to them and they wrote it, he said, as the Lord told them.
- There is going to be a breakthrough in curbing crime islandwide as the Lord is going to visit Montego Bay, St. Catherine and other crime-torn areas where people are afraid to tread.
- Jamaica will make a deeper alliance with the United Kingdom concerning drug trafficking and crime and violence in 2006. Trinidad will become involved and pool resources with Jamaica.
- Lots of investments will come to Montego Bay. That city will become the 'Pearl of Jamaica'. A university to be built in Montego Bay. There will also be a lot of homosexual and lesbian activities in Montego Bay and a hotel will rise up there which permits promiscuous behaviour.
- The Lord is going to open new avenues for revenues and new avenues for investments in Jamaica. The nation must be diligent to watch the terms 'debt swap' and 'debt write off'.
- Massive financial aid will be given to Jamaica in 2006-2007 from Europe, Asia and Latin America by private investors which shall bring employment to thousands of Jamaicans who normally migrate to other regions.
- Inner-city people will receive help from overseas to build schools and skills-training centres.
- A revival and transformation of the nation is coming. God is going to raise up lots of millionaires and billionaires. The financial supply will be more than adequate. (Ahhh ... Olint and Cash Plus?)
- The year 2006 will be a year of breakthroughs and 'suddenlies'. Sudden promotion is coming for the people of God. Suddenly there will be open doors for people to benefit from training and studies overseas.
- Three major scandals are going to hit the press, two in government, and one in private sector. Some government ministries will have to be cleaned up and shaken up. These include the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Health and a certain ministry in the Half-Way Tree region will come under serious scrutiny.
- Integrity shall return to some governmental agencies, renovation to some, a total reshuffling to others and termination to the rest.
- Water will break out in places in Jamaica that have seen water there before. (At first I was amazed thinking it was Moneague, then I realized that occured before his prediction)
- Weather conditions shall be changed in late March, early April. Sea levels shall rise, reclaiming land. The Office of the Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management will have their hands full, but the fatalities shall be minimal.
- There shall be a major breakthrough in the international medical fraternity regarding HIV/AIDS in mid-December 2007. This breakthrough will be finalised by 2010. (Will have to wait until December to verify this)
- There is going to be a local breakthrough affecting the alternative energy sector.
- Two practising attorneys will be debarred on account of corruption.
- God will be raising up prophets not just to prophecy, but to give solutions to the ills of the nation.
- There will be a repeat of the divine visitation in New Orleans.
- Jamaica will emerge to become the spiritual capital of the world. Jamaica shall be the spiritual oasis in the Western Hemisphere where the voice of God shall be heard now more then ever, through His prophets. The most accurate prophets will speak from Jamaica in 2006 and beyond.
