OJ the fact is our legislators are sloppy and we can't continue in this way. Make laws to suit the immediate that come back to bite us.

JUTC cost us 6 Billion to Millwood and crew because we choose not to properly legislate.

The JPS could possible cost the country because of sloppy legislation.

We could go down the road, and imagine the JLP electing its leaders in good faith but illegal. We could go on and on but we can't pass laws without proper legislation and it will come back to haunt us.

Now look at the NHT if the government don't fix the legislation, they can be sue and if they lose they could be asked to give back the fund the money.

Look at the recent ticket fiasco. If pursued the government could be paying out more than they collected.

It doens't matter how well intended it is. If no legislation is in place Warmington maybe right and we need BETTER LEGISLATIONS

Police can give tickets up a dover too????? LOL.

If the legislation is not in place and it clearly don't seem be as Minister Davis doesn't seem to can say it is, then Warmi is right.

So SSP Lewis is the Law?

Show me the legislation. The fact that nobody has so far challenged them in court doesn't mean they are right.

Didn't I tell you that you could use the courts to disprove the police?

BTW what would happen here (USA) if your registration or inspection sticker is expired and you are at the toll booth? Thanks.

It depends on what state you are in. Therefore it depends on the legislation for each state.

If my registration expire in New York, do you think I will be procecuted for in it GA???

The time it took since Coke landed in the US and for him to be tried and sentenced. Throw in Dvid Smith for good measure.

My opinion..utter garbage from Warmington....We have speed limits in Jamaica.the highway has a speed limite..if you go over it isn't that illegal? Doesn't the law of Jamaica supersedes others in Jamaica...What are you saying, If a man commit a crime on the private highway he shudn't be prosecuted? The fact is there are speed limits established and if you exceed them it's illegal..no matter where in the country you are.
Laws will not be specific for every given circumstances...that's a fact...Laws will never be prescriptive...This is why we have all these issues.
Does the road act include a clause that says wtih the exception of private highways? Which road act we have that exclude highways..and if it doesn't why do we need another law to say private highways should be included....nonsense. Tell warmington and those fools in parliament that there are better things to focus on...CRIME BILLS....DNA and GANG LAW...we need those now

let me help you.. there has to be a Law in place before moving at a particular speed can be deemed illegal.. dat is basic logic..

That implementation of a law has to take into account various elements not least of which are location and jurisdiction.. the mere act of how fast one is moving is the least..

KMT.....come to NY with an expired license, registration or the sort from any other state san see what happens. I remember trying to get around the system ....my license got suspended in NY for speeding and they wanted me to pay $500 in NY to get it reinstated after 2 years..I simply went to Georgia and got a license...1 year later, Georgia suspended my license and told me if I don't pay the 500 to NY I can get no license in GA....bottomline..u vilote something from one satte u can be penalized in another.

and you realize that there are speed limits established on the highways right? Are we saying that the Government of Jamaica has no right to establish speeding limits in some places in Jamaica? IF you buy property, you know that the government can restrict what you do with it right. They can tell u how high to build, what u can and can't do......
