Vicious gays - Homosexual men stone supermarket, threaten staff

    — after attempt to obtain groceries by fraud fails

A group of gay men, some in drag, hurled stones at a supermarket in New Kingston last Saturday after alert staff and security guards foiled an attempt by them to obtain groceries by fraud.

The angry group, said to number about 17, also threatened staff, forcing the company to increase security and provide added protection for their workers while they walk to bus stops after closing time.

Homeless homosexuals in New Kingston say they have been deprived of medicine and other assistance from J-FLAG and JASL because of the bad behaviour of a few.

According to a source at the supermarket, the drama unfolded at about 8:00 pm after three of the men entered the supermarket, while the others waited outside.
"Members from the group, some dressed as women, came to the supermarket and attempted to purchase some items," said the source.
When the cashier made the normal request for identification to verify the user of the credit card, the man who handed her the card became boisterous, claiming that it belonged to his male companion.
His rowdy behaviour drew the attention of security personnel and the other gay men outside.
The three men inside the supermarket resisted the security guards' attempts to apprehend them and ran outside where they joined their friends, some of whom brandished knives and machetes and threatened the staff and security guards.
The angry men then started hurling stones at the supermarket, the source said, forcing the security team to pull the shutters to protect the building.
The security guards also alerted the police who, on arrival, were able to apprehend one of the men as the others fled.
Yesterday, the New Kingston police confirmed the incident.
"We received reports that there was an incident at the supermarket and that one man was apprehended and charged for uttering forged documents," said Commander Christopher Murdock.
"The police have also launched a manhunt for other members of the group who are wanted for several crimes, including stabbing and robberies," Murdock said.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Heterosexuals far exceed this in the Crime Category...

A similar phenomenon is the alarm when young boys are molested.. while young girl molestation is almost endemic in the society..

if you are not armed with Critical Thinking on this subject matter you are doomed to perdition...

            Marauding homosexuals and J-FLAG
            Thursday, February 21, 2013

THE Jamaican nation continues to struggle with the delicate issue of how to treat those of our citizens who are homosexuals.
In fact, the problem has been seriously exacerbated by the emergence of a growing band of homosexual men, largely operating in New Kingston, who have demonstrated a willingness to attack other citizens and to carry out criminal acts.

With the situation getting out of hand, the lobby group, Jamaican Forum for Lesbians, All-sexuals and Gays, (J-FLAG) has been forced to distance itself from the homosexuals they are calling "homeless gays", declaring: "We want to make it absolutely clear that, while J-FLAG advocates for the rights of all Jamaicans, and, in particular, members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community, J-FLAG does not condone any form of misconduct, violent or criminal behaviour.
"In addition, while these individuals may be members of the LGBT community, J-FLAG cannot be held culpable for their actions and behaviour," the lobby group said in a January 2013 press statement.
In its infancy, J-FLAG became known for its public statements condemning 'homophobic' Jamaicans and its tendency to blame every killing of a homosexual on 'homophobia', no matter how clear it was that the incident was a domestic one involving gay lovers. Our police force and our national image overseas suffered terribly because of this practice.
Jamaicans who were incensed by these false accusations would have found the January statement a welcome departure, in that it acknowledged that not everyone who shunned a gay man, was doing so because of his homosexuality.
Said the group: "J-FLAG, as communicated to the police on many occasions, is fully supportive of their efforts to resolve the issues created by homeless gay men. J-FLAG agrees it is necessary to apprehend and incarcerate persons who commit crimes, and understands the necessity of mitigating the impact of lawlessness on business people, residents, employees, and commuters. J-FLAG does not in any way consider the police undertaking their duties as homophobic or being anti-gay..."
We suspect that a statement of this nature could only have come after much angst and desperation on the part of J-FLAG which admitted that it had made several attempts to intervene, but had been unsuccessful in its bid to rein in the culprits, some of whom are involved in frequent internal fights as well as criminal offences such as robbery.
"J-FLAG has met and collaborated with a broad range of stakeholders, including the police, the member of parliament for the constituency, the mayor, the Ministry of Health, the councillor, the Child Development Agency, church leaders, and representatives of the business community, but the outcomes have not been significant enough to address the behavioural issues from which these issues stem," the organisation said.
J-FLAG, we believe, cannot like Pontius Pilate, wash its hands of the problem and must continue its efforts at intervention on behalf of that section of its constituency.
We hasten to say, however, that this is not just a problem for J-FLAG. These are Jamaican citizens who must be treated as all other Jamaicans. They are entitled to protection under law. Many of them have been cast out of their homes and communities and are living on the streets of Kingston. They are in urgent need of rehabilitative care, education and medical attention.
The society ignores them at its own peril.

JFLAG seems to be a reasonably responsible organization, if it is to be judged by its statements contained in the article. The only problem is, they seem to be able to accurately identify the reasons for criminality by the LGBT community, but has not offered any assistance to these communities. This tends to give me the impression that JFLAG is little more than an organization of elite homosexuals that wants nothing more than the acceptance of their lifestyle, by the broader Jamaican community. Nothing is wrong with that, if they clearly state that they are simply a "Gay-club without brick and mortar" and not a true LGBT social welfare support organization. Either way, Jamaicans reserve the right to reject homosexuality, and no I am not advocating violence against anyone, except in circumstances where violent homosexuals become a threat to life, limb, or property, under which circumstances any reasonable person, private citizen or law enforcement officer, has the right to respond appropriately, even if this response requires appropriate violence. One man's opinion.

                True!

JFLAG may need to start addressing this homelessness amongst its "members". Afterall, it should come as no surprise to them that many gays are turned out of their homes because of their lifestyles.

But until then, criminality is criminality, whether committed by straight people, gays, politicians or police and should be dealt with harshly!
