  • Damn a so the farm thief them bad?

In the first instance, they stole 300 head of goats and sheep in one night, derailing his goal of becoming one of the island's largest investors in small ruminants. In the other incident over the Christmas season, the thieves made off with six goats the custos had bought with the intention of giving as gifts.

Damn. Has this been independently verified?. It is a bit hard to believe. I hope he is just exaggerating to shine some light on a problem of utmost gravity on the island. Frankly I am skeptical of the number and time frame. Three hundred heads in one night?. If true then that is amazing.

How easy do you think it is to remove almost 30 dozen live animals from a farm in one night?. That sounds like easy logistics to you, in a disorganized country with s#!TTY infrastructure, under the situation of thieving, possibly under the cover of darkness?. That would probably be a world's record or quite close to one.
