Not all carbs are bad for you. For a balanced diet, you need your carbs, but the good carbd. The bad carbs are those found mostly in processed foods like white rice, processed flour etc. If you get your carbs from certain food sources, then you are good. Getting complex carbohydrates is what you want in your diet.

So cut out the white rice and eat brown rice etc. Beans, string beans, broccoli and other vegetables are good sources of complex carbs. The body takes a longer time to processes complex carbs and does not cause your sugar levels to fluctuate as with the processed carbs, which takes very little time to process.
"Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance." ~ Kahlil Gibran

Sure, I dont mean to cut out all carbs, that would not be good, however, the processed food with processed carbs in abaundance is bad. Also timing, you should not eat fruit after eating protein and fats.

Yes, I do agree that low glycemic carbs are better. Beans have nuff protein in them too.

Look how long my posts are already. if I were to go into greater detail and nuances...
