Just ask Mugabe to give back some of what he stole!

You can't steal your own land!

If i am not mistaken, 2/3 of the arable lands in Zimbabwe belong to white (hostiles).

It's wrong to give (gift) away one's birth=right. That country's economy is controled by the 'hostiles'..............................

I think if we knew the true story about that country--we would not side with the hostiles in rediculing Mugabe.

No fan of Mugabe but the land issue is a serious ting. This disenfranchisement is the source of our squatting and dysfunctional families issues.

It ought to be done as fairly as possibly, whatever that means!

Mugabe is a crook. His approach to resolving the land issue is a disaster and Zimbabwe is a more miserable place today than when he took power.

Of course he has become a very rich man , hence his determination to hold on to power 35 years after he gained it whatever the cost.

Fully agree that his methods are a disaster.

Seems like "our" redemption is always in the hands of "others". That's why I give him the benefit of the doubt.

I did for a long time as well. The land issue is a major one and was never going to be easily fixed without causing serious upheaval.

However when you start acting like a dictator who has the right to crush any opposition then that becomes a problem for me.

Black man time has worked well in Zimbabwe.

Just look up the name Ben (Benjamin Hanson), a personal friend and a former teacher of mine. The Hansons believed in Mugabe and stayed in Zimbabwe for 30+ years; until 2008 a broken and sick man, he had to leave the country.

                  He died in November 2011.

Mugabe is a very rich man and I am sure that he did not amass all that wealth fairly.

HL. Well done. Yep I said it. The half has not yet been told. Evenwhite Zimbabweans when you talk to them one on one admit that on the land issue Mugabe was right.

                        Exactly.

Easy to blame the former oppressor for everything while slowly morphing into one yourself.

                          It's all about land.

Zimbabwe has some of the most fertile lands on the planet! The 'hostiles' are no idiots. They would not colonize wastelands.

It pains me to see the "aboriginal people" living like 2nd class citizens on their own lands.

YES Mugabe has done lots of wrong; he is clearly corrupt;but he gets my support in returning the land to it's original people.

I don't know who I prefer to see cheating me-- my own or the hostiles. Somehow some of us tend to prefer the latter.

Well when the Hansons fled from there, I knew otherwise. Because in 2004 she beg me to come visit in Zimbabwe and told me not to listen to the Western press.

just remember if your own a cheat you, you don't stand a chance. Somehow if we do a little thing we can build ourselves and challenge others.
