      Did you see this?

Vivian spent his early years attending a Roman Catholic school in London, England. By the time of his high school graduation in 1972, his family had returned to Jamaica where he graduated with high marks.

Authorities believe Blakes upper class status in Jamaica provided the key connections to government officials who turned a blind eye to the Shower Posse's criminal endeavors in return for ensuring a continued uninterruption of their parties dominance in Jamaican politics.

            See Wiki here:

            From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For the Jamaican lawyer and politician who later served as Chief Justice of the Bahamas, see Vivian Blake (politician).

            Died 21 March 2010 (aged 53)
            Kingston, Jamaica
Conviction(s) drug trafficking and smuggling, racketeering
            Conviction status Deceased
Occupation Former Leader of the Shower Posse
Vivian Blake (11 May 1956 – 21 March 2010)[1][2] was a Jamaican drug kingpin who founded and operated the American operations of the Jamaican Shower Posse.

Blake was born to a poor family in West Kingston, but was granted a scholarship to a private high school, St. George's College. He moved to New York in 1973, where he started distributing marijuana and cocaine, eventually expanding his network nationwide.

According to New York Daily News columnist Patrice O'Shaughnessy, in a column printed on 30 March 2010, Blake is credited with the dubious distinction of being "one of the creators of crack."

During the 1980s, also according to O'Shaughnessy, Blake was responsible for flooding Bronx neighborhoods such as Soundview, Crotona Park and Bronx River with tons of cocaine and crack cocaine.

Blake and other gang members were charged in a multiple killing in Miami, but he escaped apprehension by traveling to Jamaica. After later charges were added, he was extradited to the United States in 1999. In 2000, he pleaded guilty to charges including racketeering and conspiracy, and admitted to his role in the gang. He was sentenced to 28 years, but was released on parole after eight.

After being released from prison, Blake returned to Jamaica.

Blake died on 21 March 2010 at the age of 53 after being admitted to University Hospital of the West Indies for a heart attack. At the time of his death, he was suffering from kidney disease and undergoing dialysis.[2]

              From NY Times:

Mr. Blake, who grew up in poverty in West Kingston, earned a scholarship to St. George’s College, a private high school in Jamaica. He first traveled to New York as part of a cricket team in 1973, and stayed there, establishing the American affiliate of the Shower Posse in Brooklyn.

Time, Jim Brown himself was an extremely violent person,he was the leader of the local Shower Posse, Vivian Blake was never as violent but was the undisputed leader of the international Shower posse,he led a posse abroad that makes JB and his henchman look like alter boys. He also was the one that profit most financially from the infamous organization, Vivian Blake was indeed the boss of all bosses.
There was a member of the Shower Posse that mirrors both Jim and Viv, he is Charles "Little Nut" Miller, called Maggler by his fellow cronies. He was as violent as Jim and as rich as Viv.He definitely wasn't a Jamaican, his native country( I think) is St. kitts.I am surprised he wasn't mentioned,he isn't a nice person.
Storyteller was the codefendant of Jim in Jamaica, I remember seeing both of them emerged from the courtroom downtown to a balcony shouting shower when they both were found not guilty.

Just to add relevant information otherwise missing,Viv brothers,Black Tony and Kong were crucial players, the 1000+ murders attributed to the infamous posse, the ones Viv somehow successfully distant himself from all occurred under the branch leadership of both.
Why Viv was the leader of Shower? He gave the orders and took none,Jim Brown and his henchmen carried out those orders.
High ranking members from Jim Brown crew migrated and took up nondescript roles in Viv's crew;you will not find a more dangerous person than Baskin(sp).

Not sure if Vivan Blake was the most of violent of the lot. He seemed to be the type that gave the orders to hitmem like Little Nut and Kirk Bruce. One federal agent called Kirk Bruck the personification of evil. Little Nut became very rich and powerful after he went home to St Kitts and became his own boss.

Viv clearly wasn't the most violent,he successfully distant himself from the murders his gang committed.
I know he wasn't this otherwise squeaky clean character we think he is, Jim Brown and his henchman did some serious things in Jamaica because Viv ordered him to, and Viv two brothers were not at all soft guys.
Kirk is a nightmare,Little Nut was always rich and violent, the nonsense in St Kitts was just an extension....
