Burger King last night admitted to selling burgers and whoppers which contained horse DNA in the United Kingdom, despite two weeks of denials.
The admission by the fast food chain came after new tests revealed that their guarantees that there was no horse DNA in burgers were incorrect.
Burger King in a statement revealed that in the last 36 hours it has confirmed that Polish company Silvercrest which supplied them with meat had a small percentage of horse meat in their supply
